Schappell, David

David Joseph Schappell, age 52, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his home.

David was born in Glen Ridge, NJ and lived in Parsippany, NJ for most of his life. As a

youngster, he played ice hockey for the Garden State Hockey Club and the New Jersey

Golden Blades. David worked as an Automobile Adjuster for NJM in Parsippany for 14 years. He was a graduate of Parsippany Hills High School. David attended Morris County College where he obtained an Associate's degree in Law Enforcement, and he also attended Rogers Williams College in Rhode Island where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. David played ice hockey at all three schools he attended, and for the Newark Sabres Semi-Pro Hockey Club.
