LeClair, Jack

Jack Leclair, 82, passed away June 14, 2011. He was born in Quebec City, Canada on May 30, 1929 to parents John and Alice Leclair. Jack had a good and happy life, most of it centered around ice hockey. He played professionally for the Montreal Canadians and won a Stanley Cup in 1956. He was always proud of this accomplishment, every Canadian boys

dream. Jack was always well respected and loved by his players, both adults and children.


CURATOR'S NOTE: While Jack was not a native of New Jersey, his contributions

to the New Jersey Amateur Hockey Community from 1971 to 1979

are priceless. A friend to many New Jerseyans, he will always be remembered.
